Premier Pensions Management sets up Financial Services Business.

Premier Pensions Management has announced continuing expansion of it’s business through the establishment of Premier Pensions Solutions (PPS), a financial services division regulated by the FSA.

Paul Couchman, Managing Director, said “Many of our clients have been looking for the type of services we can now offer through PPS ie advice and implementation of contract based pension schemes, risk based benefits and individual financial advice and we are delighted that we can now provide an integrated advisory service covering these additional areas”.

Ian Gutteridge and Martin Thompson who lead PPS said “We are delighted to be joining Premier Pensions Management. The services we can offer through PPS complement the core pensions consulting, actuarial and administration services and enable us to provide truly holistic solutions. There is little doubt that pension and employee benefit provision in the UK is changing rapidly with the increasing transfer of risk, responsibility and decision making from employer to employee - it is vital that employers recognise these changes and appoint advisers who are able to cater for the needs of both employer and employee. Gutteridge and Thompson were previously with Barclays where they built and lead the Barclays Corporate Pensions and Benefits business, having previously held senior leadership roles at Sedgwick Independent Financial Consultants..
